About UAV Crop Watch®

Success is where preparation and opportunity meet.

UAV Crop Watch was founded by WILSAN Limited, Hong Kong.  William Tait is our Chief Executive Officer and registered Chief Pilot (Civil Aviation Reference # 1089220).  Mr. Tait has been involved with microlight aviation for more than 40 years, and data aggregation and forensic analysis since 1998.

WILSAN has put together a team of specialised software developers, scientific and aeronautical engineers, and professionals, focused on our unique technologies and services.

Our Biosense - heartbeat tracking development is being designed, developed, and tested, in Australian rural and outback areas. In conjunction with an Australian strategic partner company MNMC (Civil Aviation Reference #1089075) to identify and track heart rhythms from unmanned aerial vehicles.  Measuring and interacting with physiological functions, in a noncontact manner from an elevated position is useful for livestock industry, healthcare, security, and surveillance.  This is a breakthrough technology using a type of pulsed laser radar, which has advantages of low power requirements.

Design, development, and testing, all take time; however, we have made much progress and envisage Alpha and Beta rollouts in 2024 to 2025 respectively.

To facilitate service delivery, we are compiling a database of and accepting expressions of interest from Civil Aviation registered UAV pilots worldwide. Recruiting and providing technical training to educate pilots in our ground breaking technologies.  In turn, they will be working with agriculture, healthcare providers, security and military worldwide.

We are very young, but we are going to turn the agricultural and security markets upside down with unique and efficient systems the world has never seen before.  Our aim is to initially service high demand locations such as Asia and North America, and ultimately facilitate a global service delivery.

Technology Advances

As farms increase in size and technologies evolve, it pays off to use modern technologies for better and more precise management of larger fields. More efficient operations save money on inputs, and increase the total yield by the end of the year. In other words: more savings, more benefits.

Aerial Analysis

Crop Watch converts multispectral images into accurate reflectance and index maps, like NDVI, and uses RGB images to generate high resolution orthomosaics.  Our pilots can easily integrate our drone-based technology into your Ag operations, processing locally when and where you want.

Strategic Aerial Spraying

Crop Watch UAV's are designed for precision variable rate application of liquid pesticides, fertilizers and herbicides, bringing new levels of efficiency and manageability to the agricultural sector. Mapping and terrain following, spraying only the specific areas that require treatment.

Accurate Spraying

Spray nozzles are chosen according to the properties of each liquid to optimize atomization, energy efficiency and the amount of liquid sprayed. The downward airflow generated by the propellers accelerates the spray, increasing its reach.

Maximum Efficency

An area of 4,000-6,000 m² can be covered in just 10 minutes, or 40 to 60 times faster than manual spraying operations. The intelligent spraying system automatically adjusts its spray according to the flying speed so that an even spray is always applied.
